Spindle observation system

Orsó megfigyelő rendszer

This system works on the basis of time optimization during the egg fertilization process of ICSI. Thanks to observational techniques, we can see oocytes as they develop to maturity and thus make sure that we only introduce sperm to an egg that has a real chance of fertilization. For example, an egg that has split to form the ovum and a smaller polocyte body looks like a good candidate from the outside, but an underdeveloped spindle would limit chances of successful fertilization. Waiting for the optimal time in egg development, at the point in which the spindle has developed and chromosomes have aligned, can therefore prove useful with late-maturing oocytes and a low number of available eggs.
