SpermMobil

SpermMobil is a medium that contains theophylline and other components that, for a short time, accelerate the movement of otherwise immobile sperm. This serum usually helps when sperm has been extracted surgically from the testis (TESE) because some sperm may move very little, if at all, but retain their health and capability to produce a baby. The energizing effect of SpermMobil can therefore help us identify slow, but still living and viable sperm for ICSI treatment. With this medium, we can avoid overlooking healthy sperm simply because it appears dead upon first glance.
